How we handle the personal data of those who visit the site and write to us.

1. Data controller

The data controller is the Accademia del Tiramisù, a cultural association with registered office at Via Codalunga 107, 31030 Carbonera (TV), Italy, VAT 05495810268, in the person of its President Tiziano Taffarello. For any question about your data you can write to [email protected].

2. What data we process, and why

Contact form

If you write to us from the Contact page we process your name, email address, subject and the text of your message, only in order to reply. The legal basis is your own request (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Messages are kept for as long as is needed to deal with the request, and in any case no longer than 24 months.

If you subscribe to the newsletter we process your email address in order to send you news about the Academy's events, courses and initiatives. The legal basis is your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us or using the unsubscribe link in every mailing. We keep the address until you unsubscribe.

Browsing data

The server hosting the site records, as any website does, some technical data about visits (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser). These serve only to keep the site working and secure (art. 6.1.f GDPR) and are deleted after a limited period. The site uses no analytics or profiling tools.

Video and map

The recipe video (YouTube, Google Ireland Ltd.) and the map (OpenStreetMap Foundation) are not loaded automatically: they start only if you press the relevant button. From that moment your browser connects to their servers, which process data under their own notices (Google, OpenStreetMap).

3. Who can see the data

The data are processed by the controller and by the people it authorises. They may also be processed by the technical suppliers who help us run the website, the email and the newsletter, appointed as data processors. We do not sell or pass on data to third parties.

4. Your rights

At any time you may ask to access your data, correct them, erase them, restrict or object to their processing, receive them in a portable format and withdraw the consent you have given, by writing to [email protected]. If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR you may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

The site uses only the technical storage that is essential for it to work. All the details are in the Cookie Policy.
